Homecoming

Saturday evening my guild had an in-character Deathwing run - we all queued up for the Raid Finder and RPed our way through the instance. (Yes, this meant gathering a complete raid of RPers so we wouldn't annoy any randoms we happened to get stuck with.) I wanted to take a different character, so I imagined that Corrienda, my druid, would want to stay home with the baby, so if things went horribly wrong he wouldn't be left an orphan.

The expedition was a success, of course (raid finder trollololol). Her fiance was bone-weary, but happy. She'd been pacing the floors all night, so she was thrilled to see him home alive. This is what I imagined the scene looking like as soon as he arrived.

I'd wanted to make his armor look more dirty and battle-worn, but it's already so dark and lava-y that I wasn't really sure how to make it look significantly different. Oh well. WMV + PS7, a few hours.
